Datum:29.01.2010 - Rating: 5/5Wochentage, Zahlen, Obst- viele Grundlagen für das erste Englischjahr. Und immer wieder wird der Satz wiederholt "He is still hungry".
Wiederholungen, einfache Darstellung, die zum Nachbasteln und Malen anregen, eine einfache Sachgeschichte und einfache Wörter- dieses Buch hat alles, was kleine Kinder anspricht.

Datum:15.01.2010 - Rating: 4/5Da ich als Kind schon dieses Buch geliebt habe, habe ich es jetzt - auf englisch - für meine Töchter gekauft. Selbstverständlich ist der Inhalt der selbe wie im großen Buch - auch die Löcher sind vorhanden. Darauf kam es mir vor allem an. Ich kann das Buch empfehlen.

Really a book for small children?
Datum:09.12.2009 - Rating: 3/5Interestingly, none of the children I know actually seems to really like this book. I don't know why, since it seems to have everything a good book should have.
But somehow, the lovely message seems to be lost on the small children this is usually bought for, while the older ones aren't interested anymore, maybe because the text is a bit, well, simple, shall we say? It is certainly not a book I have ever been asked to read for a child by the child itself.
I wonder, is it is more a case of adults buying it because *they* like it?
So, buy it by all means as well, but don't be too disappointed if your kids are less fond of it than you are.
